I think you get around $40 every time you donate, which you can do every couple of days. I don’t do it, but a lot of my friends back in Iowa City would when they needed a little extra dough.
haha, thanks. i posted this at work. most of the plasma donations in my town come from people who should be seriously questioned about whether or not they should be donating in the first place.

oh man it snowed a lot today. today was the kind of snow that deep down inside you hate more than anything. the last two times it snowed was the calvin and hobbes style december magic we all know and love. today’s snow was the kind that makes everyone late for their jobs. you know, those places that no one else in their right mind would be at on a day like today (except you, because you have no fucking choice.) today’s snow was the kind of snow where for whatever reason the otherwise always working thing in the car that makes your ipod play DOESN’T and you can’t seem to figure out why (but really you know it’s the snow’s fault, somehow.) Today’s snow made the car get stuck on the treacherous direct vertical incline of a hill that’s in the shape of an insanely sharp right turn. Today’s snow put a fucking layer of bullshit salt and dirt over everything ever and screws up the alignment in the car and to be honest the whole thing is REALLLLLY dicking with my christmas spirit.
But, on the way home the ipod thing fixed itself. all i really wanted to do was listen to this mix i’ve been nurturing all week. i feel better already.
